We had a small contingent (27) of the cross country team compete in the Bell Gardens Invitational at Cerritos Regional Park this past Saturday. All athletes run against the same grade level and same gender, and there are approximately 200+ in each race.  The highlight was when Osvaldo Cervantes(freshman) took 2nd place in a time of 16:20!  Overall, it was a grand day with the following students that also received medals: Jenny Guerrero (Junior),Ivanna Valenzuela (sophmore), Brisa Fonseca (freshman) and Alma Cardoso (freshman).
