Nogales Boys JV and Varsity Shut Out West Covina

The Boys Soccer Program swept the West Covina Bulldogs yesterday in non-league matches. The JV Boys had their second win of the season and their first shutout of the season as they were able to capitalize on goals from Jesus Mondragon and Victor Oros to win the game 3-0. There was also a great performance from the defense as they and goalkeeper Jesus Rendon attained the first shutout of the season.

The Boys Varsity team won their game on a game winning goal by Senior Josue Rodriguez who was given a great center cross from Freshman Jonathan Arias in the second half to put the Nobles on top. This was also the second shutout of the season for the Varsity team as Goalkeeper Christian Salas was not challenged much. The Nobles benefited from a great job by the defense, including Anthony Dominguez, Edwin Aparicio, Juan Talavera, Saul Ramirez, Eric Guadarrama, and Emiliano Silva. Thank you to those that came out to support and hope to see you on Thursday December 11, as the Nobles travel to Arroyo High School on another non-league match.
