									<div>Evolution Final Test&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>5/27: Multiple Choice and Written portion&nbsp; (I dropped the D. Key- Day 2 part of the test)</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>It will be an Illuminate test.&nbsp; Once you start you will have 1 hour to complete it. SO STUDY.&nbsp; DO NOT THINK THE INTERNET WILL SAVE YOU.&nbsp; IT will take too much time if you are just looking up stuff as you are taking the test.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>My advice: Complete the study guide.&nbsp; Have it next to you as your reference for the test.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>
<div>---DO NOT COPY AND PASTE FROM THE INTERNET-- that is plagiarism- Results in me not giving you any credit.&nbsp;</div>
<div>----Use your notebook as the first resource.&nbsp; The test is based off of those notes and readings.&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Your grade WILL NOT DROP. Look at the "Test" portion of your grade. Are you happy with it? If so, don't take the test if you don't want. Do you want a higher grade in the test portion? Then study like you mean it. And up that grade!</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>1. Go to <a href="https://testing.illuminateed.com/auth/quick" target="_blank">https://testing.illuminateed.com/auth/quick</a></div>
<div>2. Type in your 10 digit ID</div>
<div>3. Type in access code: <a class="btn-show-access-code" role="button" href="https://rowlandschools.illuminateed.com/live/?assessment_id=52316&amp;action=index&amp;new_quick_roster=0&amp;page=Assessment_OnlineTestingController#quick-roster-modal" data-toggle="modal" data-access-code="9NBTTVB" target="_blank">9NBTTVB</a></div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Window is from 6am-11:59 pm.&nbsp; You have one hour to complete the test.&nbsp; &nbsp; *Just FYI- I won't be home from about 11:00-2:30 so if you have issues, I won't be able to reset until I get home</div><br>

<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>3. Complete the virtual lab-- use p. 80-83 in your notebook to record your answers OR you can feel free to print it out</div>
<ul>
<li>Complete all 6 modules</li>
<li>Finish with a summary of "The Proof is in the Plumage" summary (Article attached)</li>
</ul>
<div>4. Submission: Scan your notebook pages OR print out and submit to G. Classroom</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>NOTE- 7 points doesn't sound like much, but this score goes DIRECTLY to your lab portion of your grade (everything else we have done so far goes to the notebook portion). Most of those assignments were worth 23-30 points. Obviously those were more detailed and time-consuming so this cannot hold the same weight as those other projects.</div>

</div>
</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>2. Spend your week working on making your D. Key--This is not something that you can leave until the last minute.&nbsp; I'm giving you two weeks for a reason! This is your last project of the year.&nbsp; It goes into your grade as a lab report score.&nbsp; I would plan out your weeks to make this project more manageable.&nbsp; Sample plan attached.&nbsp;</div>
<ul>
<li>Monday- pick animal and research Scientific name/ common names/ members of the family of choice</li>
<li>Tuesday- Find CLEAR pictures of each of the 15-20 members of your family</li>
<li>Wednesday- Start organizing what features you plan on using in your D. Key by studying the pictures</li>
<li>Thursday-Tuesday Start a rough draft of your dichotomous key in a Google Doc</li>
<li>Wednesday- Take a break from the key</li>
<li>Thursday- Saturday- EDIT EDIT EDIT. Find your mistakes. Do you need to change a picture? Are there any steps that are unclear? If you go step by step through your key one time each of these days, you will probably find most, if not all of your mistakes.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Sunday- Last review + submission to Google Classroom</li>
</ul>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>3. There should be three files submitted by 11:59 on Sunday night&nbsp; (NO LATE LABS ACCEPTED)</div>
<ol>
<li>G. Doc with Dichotomous key and anatomy key</li>
<li>G. Slides presentation with 15-20 numbered pictures of your animal</li>
<li>G. Doc with solution key and pictures&nbsp;</li>
</ol>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>4. Solve your peer's Dichotomous key&nbsp; (Will be assigned by Mrs. M on 5/11)</div>
<ul>
<li>Share your project with the person you were assigned by Mrs. M</li>
<li>Open the document that was assigned to you</li>
<li>Solve their D. Key
<ul>
<li>As you go through their project, add comments to their Google Doc/Slides.&nbsp; Comments can be positive or constructive. Could they have chosen better pictures? Was their key hard to understand? Were they missing anything? What could have made it easier to solve? Etc.&nbsp;</li>
<li>On the answer key, write a short summary of how they could have improved their key or any other comments&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
