Hello,

 

     My name is Victor Bonilla, and I work in the special education department. More specifically I teach the ED/BD class. The acronym ED/BD stands for Emotionally Disturbed/Behaviorally Disabled. The ED/BD class is an incentive based, self-contained classroom that covers several subjects. Curriculum is modified to meet the needs of the students. However State Standards are still rigorously covered.

 

     This is my eighth year at Nogales. I  enjoy working with this unique population of kids. I have my degree in social science, and a master's in education. I also hold a Ed Specialist Credential which allows me to teach special ed. I have taught special education for twelve years.  I have enjoyed working at Nogales and I also have enjoyed working with students and helping them reach their academic, social, and emotional goals. I look forward to working with these unique students.

 

     I am also the head wrestling coach at Nogales High School.
