Material Requirements

1.     Student will bring the NHS issued agenda to class daily to write down assignments, homework, and due dates.

2.     Student will have a three-ring binder with a minimum of 100 sheets of paper to hold all chapter materials and handouts. 

3.     The textbook must be covered and bought to class everyday unless otherwise instructed. It will be used extensively in class.

4.     Student will bring an appropriate free reading book everyday to be used for SSR – Sustained Silent Reading.

5.     Student will bring a bound composition notebook for journal writing.

6.     Student will need several highlighters in the following colors: yellow, green, blue, pink, orange.

7.     It is recommended that students purchase a USB flash drive.  This is especially important for the research paper and formal writing assignments.
