This course is in which students explore the many forms of British works of literature. Students will be introduced to differing themes across genres and informational text.  Reading, writing, listening, and speaking are taught in relation to one another through multi-tasked teaching strategies that are aligned to the English Language Arts Common Core State Standards

This course is focused on increasing students' English skills. Students will further develop in the areas of speaking, listening, reading, and writing through a variety of assignments. This class is two periods in length. Course curriculum is aligned with the California English Language Development Standards and The California State Standards for English Language Arts.
