Mr. Clay Woodside has been teaching at Nogales High School since the 1999-2000 school year. He was awarded a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Social Studies from California State University, San Bernardino in 1996. In 2008, Mr. Woodside earned a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. Mr. Woodside has always enjoyed teaching history, especially U.S. History, but his real passion is introducing students to the topic of Psychology. Since the 2000-2001 school year, Nogales High School has offered Psychology as an A-G elective course for 11th and 12th graders. Starting with the 2010-2011 school year, Nogales began offering an AP and IB Psychology classes with Mr. Woodside at the helm. Mr. Woodside also serves as the IB Program Coordinator for Nogales High School and works with the IB Diploma candidates.
