As a part of the National Signing Day where high school students across the country sign their letters of intent to enroll at the various colleges and universities that have offered them scholarships to play sports, several San Gabriel Valley athletes were involved.

Representing Nogales High School was Anthony "Tiny" Guardado who will be attending California State University, Long Beach where he will play baseball. Anthony was joined by his family, Varsity Baseball Coach Donald Montantez, Athletic Director Bruce Alley, among other Nogales supporters.

Anthony extended a special thanks to Coach John Romano for all of his guidance and support.
