Description
French 1 covers the basic elements of all four aspects of foreign language learning: reading, writing, speaking and understanding. The course covers enough material to allow the student to read and speak about common everyday topics. Emphasis is placed on oral work. The course includes an introduction to the culture of France. The francophone world is also introduced. This course can be used for partial fulfillment of the University of California college entrance requirement.
