This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of the visual arts that will provide a meaningful experience with both depth and breadth of knowledge in the arts. This UC-approved visual arts course will be directed at acquiring concepts, comprehensions and artistic skills in the visual arts discipline. Students will understand how to engage in artistic perception, creative expression, and aesthetic valuing, as well as an appreciation of historical and cultural dimensions of art.  21^st Century career and workplace skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking skills, accountability and responsibility will be developed.
