This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of the digital graphic arts to prepare them for college course in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment industry. Students will learn and practice technical skills on Adobe software, page layout, and grid systems, and apply the visual design elements. Students will understand how to engage in artistic perception, creative expression, and aesthetic valuing, as well as gain an appreciation of historical and cultural dimensions of art.  21st Century career and workplace skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking skills, accountability and responsibility will be developed.
