Nogales, CA--in what is considered one of the largest tournaments in the San Gabriel Valley, Nogales High School played host to the Super Champs Tournament. With many of the top 20 schools in Southern California, two Nobles stood out in the competition.
Fernando Rodriguez took 7th place in the Heavyweight Division and Hideo Angulo took 1st place at the 132 lb Division.
The two-day tournament was a grueling test with wrestlers participating in numerous matches, each becoming more challenging than the previous.
