Hello, my name is Citlaly Leon I am part of the counseling team. I attended Rorimer, Telesis, and finally graduated from Nogales. I am excited to guide and support your student during their high school journey. 

 

I attended Cal State Fullerton for my Bachelor's and Cal State Long Beach for my Master's. During my time at CSUF, I realized there is a need to bring light to mental health issues within our Hispanic community and access to higher education institutions. I Volunteered at an after-school program in Anaheim for at-promise youth and fell in love with the work through playing ultimate frisbee and card games; I loved getting to know my summer camp students. I wanted to continue the work at an academic level. My goal is to make our families aware of the resources that can help them reach their goal after high school. Beyond high school, I want my students to leave Nogales being empathetic and have resilience to go through whatever life throws at them.
