BOOK RETURN: May 18

We will be returning your English textbooks on Wednesday, May 18 at the beginning of the period.  You will earn a full 4 points if you return the book ON TIME.  If you turn the book in on your own time because you do not bring it with you, you will earn a 2 (50%).  It is imperative that you return the book with the class at the scheduled time.  If you do not turn a book in at all, you will earn a 0.  There are no exceptions to this.  You have 6 days to find the book.  Be prepared.

REMINDER: Catcher quiz Friday

REMINDER: There is a Catcher in the Rye quiz this Friday on chapters 1-17.  The study guide questions/answers for these chapters are also due at the beginning of the period that day.  If you are going to be absent Friday, you will need to take the quiz this Thursday.  Please see the suggested reading schedule below.  There will be chapter quizzes every Friday for the remainder of the school year.

Thursday 4/21

Because of SBAC testing, we will be working on a few projects that can be done individually as well as in class.  For each group of students who are out testing each week, please check in to the website and make sure you are aware of what is happening in class.  You will have the time to work on our projects once you are finished with testing, or for those of you testing starting 4/28 and 5/5,  you will start the projects in class and make sure you keep up on the work.

We will be working in groups of 4 to complete our WebQuest.  You can find the link posted right before this post.  Each person has a job to do, so make sure you are clear as to who is responsible for what.  Read through the directions carefully, and do your part perfectly.

There is no official due date because of SBAC and AP testing.  Once everything is completed, we will discuss a final due date.
