Hello, my name is Mrs. Richey and I teach 3 periods of Foods and Nutrition and 2 periods of Gourmet and International Foods. The Gourmet and International Foods is the advanced class. Students who have completed the one year of Foods and Nutrition are eligible for the Gourmet and International Foods.
I have worked in education 23 years including middle and high school teaching, substitute teaching and school counseling. I received a BS from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Home Economics and a minor in Social Studies. I am credentialed in Home Economics, Social Studies, and School Counseling. I have a Masters in School Counseling from University of La Verne. This is my 11th year teaching at Nogales High School.
I am thrilled to be part of the Nogales staff and excited to teach students culinary skills which they can use in their career or in life experiences.
