This is a college preparatory, English literature class with an emphasis on writing, which includes monthly essays and creative stories, poetry, etc. as it pertains to the curriculum, as well as reading and speaking skills. Students will often work collaboratively in groups on both long and short term projects. These projects will also culminate in oral presentations which often involve student driven study material, quizzes and notes.
The first semester will culminate with MACBETH and the second semester will culminate with a senior reserch paper (see syllabi for both semesters).
