This is a college prep English class that demands focus and academic effort on student's parts. The course of study is American Literature and preparation for college writing. Students will engage in a variety of readings, assignments, and analysis of pivotal American documents, essays, and literature. Students will complete a medium length research paper along with other written and oral assignments.

Students MUST bring reading book on Fridays (SSR), a notebook and planner every day,
and check the website daily for homework and readings.
