To all Nogales and Special Education Team Mates,
We are fundraising for our Prom this year which is Friday May 18th due to the fact that there is much construction here at Nogales and we do not have use of the Manor.
This has given us the opportunity to take our Prom to an outside location which is actually quite nice because makes it more special for the students.
Of course this creates the challenge of finances since our students typically come from financially challenged families and do not have the privilege of working to raise money for themselves as our more typical population does.
So, in the main office of Nogales High School, behind Laureen, there is a poster titled “A Mid Summers Night Dream”, which is sponsor board for our students in E2.
You can sponsor an E2 student with a $5, $10 or $15 donation toward their prom costs.
Our amazing Carolyn Dillon, a Career Vocational Assistant, in our classroom has worked diligently this year raising money and getting a brand new prom dress for each one of our students. So this year will be the most amazing year yet.
Please help sponsor our students by dropping a donation in the box and signing your name next to a student you want to sponsor. If you are not on Nogales campus, email me and I will arrange for a pick up.
