Nogales High School--Algebra II student finding the math in artwork. Mr. Cox took some of his Algebra II students to the New Manor art show. Their task was to find slopes and slope intercepts in art work. Here are some of their findings based on a popular mask one of the Nogales art students made. The math students took their work back to class and created equations to represent their findings. Way to go Nobles--finding the math in art through the art of math!
