Nogales Social Science teacher, Mr. Devon Butcher procured a coveted spot at the Museum of Tolerance for a field trip. On Monday, November 24, about 130 Nogales students visited the museum as part of an enrichment to the unit of study on tolerance and the Holocaust. The next day, about 200 student gathered in the gym where they met a Holocaust survivor through video conferencing technology. Mrs. Andrea Takahashi, who teaches history and French, also assisted and facilitated a discussion after the guest speaker. There will be an RUSD and San Gabriel Valley Tribune story to follow.
