FINAL DRAFT DUE THURSDAY

Attention all English 11 classes:

Your FINAL DRAFT of the Juvenile Justice essay is due at the beginning of the period Thursday. Your paper needs to be turned in to the box outside the door before entering class. If you do not have your paper, you will receive a zero. It is your responsibility to print out your essay in advanced. Do not come to class with an excuse; it will not be heard and will not allow for late turn-ins. Print the night before or come to school early and print in the Library.

Remember:

- Did you answer the prompt and prove your argument WELL?

- Is your paper in proper MLA format, including the Works Cited (which should be perfect because you have your cheat-sheet)?

- Is your thesis in the right place and is it strong?

- Did you include EVIDENCE in your essay with the proper in-text citations?

- Does your essay read well (proper grammar, academic language, mature thoughts) and does it make sense?
