Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Karyn Villa, and I will be you students teacher for the school year.
I am an Azusa Pacific University graduate earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and a Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis in Special Education. I also possess a California Special Education Teaching Credential. I am proud to be at Nogales High School working with wonderful students and staff. I approach each year as a challenge with many opportunities for student success, and I hope to work together with you to insure your child’s success.
My classroom philosophy is one of mutual respect, cooperation, achievement, and high expectations. I will continue to try to make curriculum and learning fun, as well as interesting challenging, and varied. Students will be held responsible and accountable for their own behavior and accomplishments, both negative and positive. I hope to contact you through the year; however, I encourage you to contact me with questions or concerns before 8:00 a.m. or after 3:00 p.m.
