Grading
Grades are based on a percent of the total points earned versus the total number of points possible.
For example: 19/25 is a C
90- 100% = A
80- 89% = B
70- 79% = C
60- 69% =D
<60% = F

All classes are taught with differentiated instruction in assignments and pacing to enhance the retention of state standards based on skill level and conceptual understanding. The pacing purpose supports re-teaching and reinforcement of prior and new skills necessary to meet the compressive coverage of Biology, Earth Science, and English. The pacing of the classes gives every student the opportunity to understand concepts and master standards based learning materials along with supporting their Individual Educational Plans. Each text book used is standards based with a lower readability.

Every student will have the opportunity to learn and earn passing grades provided he or she attends class, completes the assignments (class work, homework, and projects) and is actively engaged in learning.
