1. Continue research for The Great Gatsby research project.  Use the school's research databases to find information. Please refer to the English 11 folder to find supporting documents (assignment requirements, template for research format, codes for database passwords, etc.).
**The research portion is due April 12.  Two days will be allotted the week we return from Spring Break to continue research for the project, but students are expected to spend time during Spring Break continuing their own research to avoid panic immediately before the due date.
***The final research portion of the assignment will be typed and printed.  It should be presented as a research paper, academically formal and in correct MLA format.

Homework:
Chapter 2 vocabulary due Friday.  We will be playing BINGO for chapters 1 and 2 vocab, so be prepared with the correct definitions.  Use the vocabulary map to complete all ten words.

Tuesday 3/15

BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH!

Students research the 1919 World Series Scandal.
Students participate in a discussion about chapter 4 and Nick's ability to be nonjudgmental.
