This year at Nogales students will be required to write a coherent and concise 5-paragraph essay for each subject each month of the school year. My Access is a website that our students will utilize this year that will help them achieve this requirement. This website is a writing technological aid. Each student will have their own account. They will also be able to submit essays into this site. The website then grades the essay and provides feedback to the student. Students are graded on a 6 point grading sytem. 6 being an excellent essay and 1 being a poor essay. This website is of great value since this year at our school we are really making a push towards students being able to write a coherent and well structured 5-paragraph essay.

This is a great website that gives you access to many journals, articles, and books on several educational topics. This website is very user friendly.

This website is great for students to keep up with current, local events. Students are asked to write on current event topics so this website is relevant to my class.

This website will give you access to all of the standards that are being addressed. At Nogales every teacher is required to have a specific standard up on the board everyday. Student should also be familiar with standards and know where to find them. This website would definitely be beneficial in regards to a student finding out what standards he/she is working with.

This website has information that is vital for students who want to receive financial aid for college. The FAFSA form is on this site as well. Information for parents is available as well.
